Bob Austin

Bob Austin is a retired educator, photographer, and author from Washington State. During his career, he helped students explore science, technology, engineering, photography, and career education.

His science-fiction writing combines believable science with mysteries about space, artificial intelligence, and humanity’s place in the universe. His novel, *The Test of Earth: A Voyager Encounter Sci-Fi Thriller*, imagines what might happen if Voyager awakened—and something far beyond Earth answered.

Bob also writes practical photography books for older adults who want to improve their skills or earn extra income from their cameras. When he is not writing, he enjoys photography and exploring new ideas for future books.
