Hon Michael Lord Microbilo Smith
Michael Lord Microbilo Smith is a British author of Nigerian heritage whose writing explores ambition, moral responsibility, social power and the consequences of human choice. Educated at West End College, the London College of Law, the University of West London and Birkbeck, University of London, he also studied at the University of Southampton.
He is the son of the late Chief Sir Alfred I. Okafor, a chief lecturer, and Lady Rose C. Okafor, a teacher. His first published work, The Rotten World, appeared in 2003. The Mon-Eyed Man originated as a play published in London in 2012 and has been reimagined as a full-length novel.
