Rossah Bendahman has devoted a lifetime to dance as a performer, choreographer, and teacher. From her studio in Santa Cruz to teaching Middle Eastern dance at the University of Nevada, Las Vegas, she has shared her love of movement and music with generations of students, many of whom have continued dancing for decades.
The Looking Glass Star grew from her connection with Cherie, her first child dance student, and the joy of watching a young person discover her own possibilities. Illustrated by Olga Matushkina, this magical story celebrates dance, friendship, mentorship, and the courage to become your best self.
Rossah lives in Henderson, Nevada. Through dance and storytelling, she hopes to share the wonder and encouragement that have meant so much in her own life.
