Pamela Thomas

Pamela “Gigi” Thomas is a respiratory therapist, proud mother of three, and grandmother to seven wonderful grandchildren. She lives in Sarasota, Florida, with her beloved yellow Labrador, Morty.

Inspired by Morty’s real-life love of paddleboarding through Florida’s crystal-clear springs, Gigi created the children’s book series Morty’s Paddle & Protect Adventures. Through these heartwarming stories, she hopes to encourage young readers to explore nature, make new friends, and care for the wild places and animals that make Florida special.

When she’s not writing or paddleboarding with Morty, Gigi enjoys spending time with her family and sharing the beauty of Florida’s springs with the next generation.
