Joe Wells writes for the regular person in the pew, and he has met a lot of them.
He has served publicly since 2000, first as a youth minister and preacher, and today he travels the country full time. In a given year he is in front of men's groups, family events, youth rallies, and marriage retreats, and in pulpits of congregations across America. That travel is not a sideline to the writing. It is where the writing comes from. Joe puts on the page what he has already watched land in a room full of people who are tired, distracted, and hungry for something true.
His newest book is Being Men of God. Readers have also found their way to him through Complete, Game Plan, Surrender, Connected, and Determined. Every one of them takes a passage of Scripture, walks through it in plain language, and hands the reader something to do about it on Monday morning. There is no academic throat-clearing. His aim from the first page is the same as it is from the pulpit, which is to help people make the connection with the Word of God and be transformed for Christ.
Joe holds a B.S. degree in Science, a completion certificate from the Nashville School of Preaching and Biblical Studies, and a Master of Ministry degree from Freed-Hardeman University. He is the co-founder of Kaio Publications, and he and Erin co-host The Hey Joe Show, a podcast that challenges and strengthens families and teens across America.
Joe and Erin are blessed to be the proud parents of four children.
