Whitney Zimmerman

Whitney Zimmerman is McKinsey’s first Distinguished Expert in strategy. He directs the firm’s research on strategy practices and the capabilities of strategically effective organizations. He leads McKinsey’s counseling of strategy executives and speaks and publishes regularly on the discipline of strategy leadership. He previously worked in semiconductor manufacturing, led production teams and managed product launches at BMW, and founded an AI startup.
