Cassandra Lynn is a writer, mom, and lifelong overthinker who somehow decided that having a baby was a good idea.

After surviving the first year of motherhood—and realizing just how much nobody had warned her about—she started writing down the advice, lessons, mistakes, and occasional WTF moments she wished she'd had before becoming a mom.

The result is We're All Just Winging It: An Honest Guide to the First Year of Motherhood, a practical, funny, and decidedly imperfect guide for anyone trying to figure out what the hell they're doing.

Cassandra believes there's no single right way to be a mom, that most of us are making it up as we go, and that sometimes the best advice is simply: you're not the only one.

She lives in Colorado with her family and is still very much winging it.
