Bruce Madsen

Bruce has been obsessed with patterns for years. He has been collecting quilts and quilt books since the 1970’s. As part of his work in Architectural design, he has studied paving patterns and tile patterns. He has created numerous “fill patterns” for design document sets.

In his non-work life, he studied four-harness weaving patterns, Sashiko embroidery patterns, Kumiko wood screen patterns, and all sorts of tessellations.
