Curtis Sanders is a children’s author and creator who uses storytelling to help young people build practical skills for life. He is the creator of Moe’s Money Moves, a children’s financial literacy series that uses relatable characters, stories, and activities to introduce kids to healthy money habits and everyday financial decision-making.
A Certified Credit Counselor and former Financial Literacy Program Coordinator at the University of Illinois Springfield, Curtis brings his background in financial education into his work for children and families. He believes conversations about money should begin early and that financial education should feel accessible, engaging, and relevant to the lives of the children learning it.
Through Moe’s Money Moves and his broader creative work, Curtis creates stories that entertain while giving children, families, and educators meaningful ways to explore money, decision-making, and other skills that help young people navigate life.
