O. Chip Robinson

Chip is an Alabama-based author, playwright, screenwriter, independent publisher, community organizer, and entrepreneur whose work spans nonfiction, true crime, journalism, theater, scripted television, and film. With more than four decades of freelance writing experience, she has written hundreds of published articles, stories, books, plays, and scripts across a wide range of subjects.

Much of Chip’s nonfiction work focuses on making complicated subjects understandable, practical, and useful. She writes books and articles designed to help everyday people navigate important personal, legal, and life decisions with greater confidence. Her work favors clear explanations, realistic guidance, and usable resources over unnecessary jargon or technical language.

Chip also researches and writes extensively about true crime, exploring not only the crimes themselves but the people, relationships, circumstances, and systems surrounding them. Her creative work includes stage plays, dramatic adaptations, and scripts developed for television, film, and true crime programming. As an independent publisher, Chip is involved in projects from initial idea, research, and writing through editing, development, and publication.

Beyond her writing and publishing work, she serves as a Legal Document Specialist and Notary Public with Law Docs Depot, where she helps self-represented individuals better understand and prepare important legal documents. She is also the Founder and Director of a Pagan religious organization, The Pagan Path, and she serves as the head Pagan Cleric of its religious center, Temple of Gaia, where she leads religious education, community outreach, and the development of inclusive Pagan programs and resources.
