Michael Lerchenfeldt Ed.D.

Michael Lerchenfeldt, Ed.D., is a co-author of an original six-book series on leadership and efficiency published by Taylor & Francis’ Productivity Press. He is a seasoned educator and a Certified Six Sigma Black Belt dedicated to driving growth through organizational excellence.

A resolute advocate with international teaching experience at Sunnyvale Primary School in Auckland, New Zealand, Mike has served as an America Achieves Michigan Educator Voice Fellow and presented digital-age empathy for the Michigan Association of Computer Users in Learning (MACUL). Beyond the classroom, he is an accomplished freelance journalist based in Rochester Hills, regularly contributing editorial features to regional publications, including Hour Detroit and Macomb Now.

Since 2008, Mike has taught at Chippewa Valley Schools in Michigan, where he leads students to improve their overall literacy, conceptual problem-solving, communication, and creative writing. He earned his Ed.D. in organizational leadership from Oakland University and an M.Ed. from Saginaw Valley State University.

Whether managing daily ELA lessons, coaching youth sports, or consulting on process optimization, Mike applies collaborative, systematic frameworks to foster environments where comprehension and community thrive.
