Allison Baggott-Rowe is an international bestselling author, TEDx speaker, and accessibility advocate whose work bridges psychology, medicine, and lived experience to transform how we understand energy-limiting disorders. Holding master's degrees from Harvard University and Xavier University, she is the author of Beyond Exhaustion and The Beyond Exhaustion Companion. In addition to her nonfiction, Allison has written award-winning literary fiction and contributed to multiple fiction anthologies.
When not working from her perch on the couch, Allison enjoys adventuring with her husband, Alex, and two dogs, Samwise and Rosie, playing tabletop games, and has a pesky habit of diving into the nearest body of water—whether that's the Aegean Sea or her local pool after Pilates. She is also ranked among the top 100 women chess players in the United States and has represented Team USA in international competition as a disabled female player. A lifelong Irish musician, Allison qualified for the All-Ireland Championships and plays several instruments, though percussion will always have her heart.
