Julius Phillips Jr

Julius Phillips Jr was born in Marion SC on May 21st 1982. After being introduced to art by his older sister, Phyllis, he began diving deep into the arts. With the late Charles Schultz as an inspiration, he began writing funny stories and making comic strips of his own. As a graduate of Marion High School in June 2000, he went into the navy and continued his passion for art. He always wanted to write stories for kids and help efforts in literacy. With Reading Rainbow and LeVar Burton as a driving force, he began his journey as a children's book author and illustrator in May 2019.
