Marco Antonio Carcano

Marco Carcano is a senior infrastructure architect and systems engineer with an extensive background engineering platforms within highly regulated Swiss private banking environments and tier-one financial technology providers, working both as an internal specialist and as an advisor. In his long career, he also worked in the LzLabs DevOps team, supporting the visionary teams that brought to life enterprise legacy modernization workloads.

As a Red Hat Certified Architect (RHCA) and a Huawei Certified Cloud Solutions Architect, his technical scope spans core Linux mechanics, multi-cloud platform deployments, and infrastructure sovereignty. He specializes in stripping away superficial cloud abstractions and architectural fads to re-establish rigorous, predictable controls over foundational hardware.

His work focuses on implementing proactive security frameworks, eliminating toxic technical debt, bypassing vendor lock-in, and managing resilient infrastructure where failure is not an option.

He is the author of "DevSecOps and DevOps for Linux - The Foundations", published by Apress (Springer Nature), as well as the self-published title "A full-featured PKI with Cloudflare’s PKI and TLS Toolkit".
