Monica Rojas

Monica L. Rojas is a photographer, author, and visual storyteller based in Northeast Ohio. Her work focuses on documenting people, places, and everyday stories through photography, art, and books.

After more than 20 years of photographing communities throughout the U.S. and abroad, Monica now focuses much of her work closer to home, highlighting the people, places, and traditions of the Mahoning Valley and surrounding areas.

Her first children’s book, Nibbles: A Fodor Tree Farm Tale, is inspired by a real family farm in Poland, Ohio. Her work is rooted in a simple idea: small stories with big hearts.
