Dr Hicham Farhat

Hicham Farhat is a cardiologist and father of three, deeply committed to family education and the transmission of meaningful values.

Like many Muslim parents, he has reflected on how to guide children through their first religious learning experiences with gentleness, simplicity, and consistency. How can we teach without creating pressure? How can learning remain accessible to a young child? And how can a few minutes spent together become a genuine moment of connection between parent and child?

These questions inspired him to create books designed above all to support parents in their role of transmission. His aim is to offer structured, accessible, and enjoyable resources that do not replace formal religious instruction, but help families approach these first steps with greater confidence.

Through his books, Hicham Farhat promotes a progressive and encouraging approach: moving forward a few minutes at a time, respecting each child’s pace, valuing their efforts, and helping them gradually understand what they are learning.

His first book, Teaching Your Child Their First Surahs, guides families through the discovery, understanding, and memorization of twelve short surahs using a simple, step-by-step parent-child method.

Convinced that the most meaningful learning experiences are also those that create lasting memories, Hicham Farhat hopes to provide families with resources that make religious learning a moment of closeness, trust, and shared experience with their children.
