Angel Cicerone

Angel Cicerone is an author, entrepreneur, marketer and unapologetic observer of the way women live—and the rules they are still expected to follow.

After decades as a corporate executive, business owner, and marketing consultant, Angel has built businesses, written about small business, traveled, started over and learned that getting older doesn't mean getting smaller.

At 60, she moved to New York City and began exploring what life could look like when you stop waiting for the right time, the right person or someone else's permission.

Her writing is candid, funny, curious, and occasionally irreverent. She writes about reinvention, friendship, aging, independence, courage and the absurdity of many of the rules women are still carrying around long after they stopped making sense.

Her latest book, You Don't Need a Reason, challenges women to stop treating their lives like an audition and start choosing what they actually want.

Angel is also the voice behind Notes From a Barstool, where she writes about the conversations, observations, and little rebellions that make life more interesting.

She lives in New York City and believes you are never too old to change your mind, change your life, or order dessert first.
