W.D. Erosh is a retired accountant with over forty years of experience unraveling complex financial puzzles while living along the Jersey Shore. What began as a practical career crunching numbers slowly evolved into a lifelong passion for detective work—much to the occasional eye-rolling of his former colleagues.

Now, he channels his real-world expertise into several cozy mystery series', where sharp forensic accounting meets sun-drenched Jersey Shore charm. Drawing directly from his days auditing and advising everything from small boardwalk businesses to high-stakes businesses, he crafts clever, fair-play puzzles with believable financial twists, witty ensemble casts, and the warm sense of community he always cherished in his shore hometown.

A resident of New Jersey, he lives with his wife near the ocean, where he still tries to take early morning walks, tinkers with old ledgers “just in case,” and plots new ways for his wannabe detective heroes to outsmart the next clever criminal.

When he’s not writing, he enjoys golf (poorly), fresh seafood, and mentoring aspiring accountants who secretly dream of solving murders.
