Kunal Joarder writes stories about love, place, and the unexpected ways people change when they step beyond the familiar. A lifelong traveler and photographer, he is drawn to the quiet details of a place—its streets, landscapes, conversations, and the lives unfolding within them.

His debut novel, Marrakech at Dusk, grew from his travels in Morocco and his fascination with the country’s beauty, history, and everyday rhythms.

When he is not writing, Kunal can usually be found traveling with his wife, Rachelle, taking photographs, visiting museums, or wandering somewhere without much of a plan.
