Michael W. Heise

Michael W. Heise has spent nearly 30 years building software and an equal amount of time not writing his first novel. The idea for Tourist first took shape in his head 25 years ago, and he returned to it in pieces before finally committing to finishing it. Raised in New England, he moved to the Baltimore area in high school and now lives in Washington, D.C. with his wife and three kids. Tourist is his debut novel, and he is currently working on his next novel, with the goal of not taking 25 years to write it.
