Drew Gallagher

Drew Gallagher is a columnist for the FXBG Advance and a longtime book reviewer for the Washington Independent Review of Books. He previously reviewed books for The Free Lance-Star newspaper (before a soulless conglomerate bought the local daily, gutted the newsroom, and disemboweled the book page. Yes, disemboweled means the same thing as gutted, but it sounds much more literary. And tragic.)

Drew lives in Fredericksburg, Virginia, with his wife and two children—at least he did until he insisted on using the headshot of himself wearing a hamburger on his head for his Amazon author photo and discovered his house key no longer worked.

His debut book, Funny for Nothing, is a collection of his most loved, or hated, depending on your point of view, columns published in the FXBG Advance.
