Lucy .D. Ola

Lucy D. Ola is a British-Nigerian writer, educator and creative whose work explores faith, culture, womanhood, identity and the journey back to self-trust.

Her debut memoir, When Heaven Was Silent, examines what happens when faith, love and cultural expectations become intertwined with silence, survival and the loss of self.

Lucy is also the creator of The Quiet Knowing, a platform and podcast dedicated to honest conversations about healing, boundaries, faith, rebuilding and learning to trust the quiet voice within.

Through her writing, Lucy hopes to give language to experiences that are often carried in silence and to remind women that finding their voice can be the beginning of finding themselves again.
