About G.R. MacDonald

G.R. MacDonald is an author of traditional, golden-age style mysteries, locked-room puzzles, and atmospheric crime thrillers. Driven by a lifelong passion for classic whodunits, he crafts intricate plots, deceptive clues, and rich settings designed to keep readers guessing until the final reveal.

When he isn’t plotting clever alibis or untangling mystery plots, he can usually be found sitting on his patio with a good book in hand—often a classic mystery or a clever modern whodunit. He lives with his wife and their two sons.
