Beverly D Williams

Welcome! I’m Beverly D. Williams, an author whose writing was born from faith, life experience, love, loss, and the determination to turn pain into purpose.

My journey began in the Bahamas, continued through part of my childhood in the Turks and Caicos Islands, and eventually brought me to the United States. Along the way, I became a mother, educator, entrepreneur, public servant, author, and publisher. I earned a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science with a minor in Business Administration and a Master of Arts in Education specializing in Adult Education and Training.

But some of my greatest lessons were never taught in a classroom.

I have walked through family dysfunction, trauma, financial hardship, broken relationships, illness, homelessness, grief, and the heartbreaking loss of my firstborn son, Demetrius Sinclair Gibson. Those experiences changed me, but I refused to allow them to become the final definition of my life.

I began transforming my experiences into words.

Today, I write books, novels, devotionals, journals, educational resources, and personal reflections that explore faith, grief, motherhood, relationships, financial stewardship, healing, forgiveness, restoration, and the courage to begin again.

My Christian faith is the foundation of my life and my writing. I do not believe faith means we will never experience hardship. I believe faith gives us somewhere to stand when life shakes everything around us.

One of the simplest and most powerful reminders I have carried with me came from my son Jeremiah:

“God is never gone.”

Those words speak directly to the heart of my journey.

Through Dream Chasers in Action and Dream Chasers in Action Publishing, I seek to educate, encourage, and empower others to recognize their God-given gifts, activate what they know, and leave meaningful legacies for the generations that follow.

My story is still being written.

If you have ever experienced loss, questioned your purpose, had to rebuild your life, pursued a dream after disappointment, or simply needed reassurance that your story is not over, I hope you will find something within my books that speaks directly to you.

I want my readers to know this:

You can grieve and still dream.

You can lose and still build.

You can be wounded and still love.

You can fall and rise again.

And through it all, God is never gone.

Thank you for being here and becoming part of this journey.
