Iris Calloway

Iris Calloway spent fifteen years working at the intersection of human behavior and emerging technology — first as a researcher, then as a consultant to organizations who needed someone to ask the questions their engineers wouldn't. She became interested in the ethics of AI identity not from a philosophical angle but from a practical one: what happens to people when the systems built to serve them turn against them instead.

She is the author of the Mara Voss series — The Grief Algorithm, The Cartographer of Lies, and The Lena Reckoning.

She lives in San Francisco.
