Eric Sakas

Eric Sakas is a novelist whose work draws on more than three decades inside the worlds of fashion, beauty, and celebrity. He began his career working alongside legendary makeup artist Kevyn Aucoin, serving as his partner and business partner for nearly a decade. Throughout his career, Eric has collaborated with some of the industry's most recognized brands, including Shiseido, Philosophy, HSN, and Kevyn Aucoin Beauty, before founding his own cosmetics company, Lucie + Pompette.

His firsthand experiences behind the scenes—in photo studios, backstage at fashion shows, and among the personalities who shape popular culture—inspired Saving Face, a novel about ambition, identity, loyalty, and the price of chasing success.

Eric lives in Rancho Mirage, California, with his husband, Todd, and their Labradoodle, Lucy.
