Sue Beer

Sue Beer is a qualified teacher with an M.A. in English and a B.A. (Hons.). She has spent a lifetime immersed in literature. A passionate reader and writer, she has written numerous short stories and contributed to Bill’s Big Bag of Onions; a collection published in association with Radio Colne, where her work has also featured on the accompanying radio show.

Sue lived in Cyprus for a year in 2002, returning frequently more recently, while writing Kostoumia. Her time on the island, together with its rich history, culture and landscapes, has been a significant inspiration for her fiction.

Alongside her writing, Sue is a successful entrepreneur, having founded two educational businesses in Bristol, UK. She now looks forward to dedicating more of her time to writing novels and bringing compelling, character-driven stories to a new audience.
