David Pinto Ribot

David Pinto Ribot is an author, environmental advocate, and founder of The Route of Water LLC, a bilingual environmental initiative dedicated to reawakening ecological awareness through publications, books, field programs, and community education.

With a professional background spanning business development, safety and environmental protection, and international business, David has spent years observing how human decisions shape the world around us. As an EPA Certified Environmental Specialist, he draws on his OSHA and FEMA credentials to provide compliance guidance to businesses, bringing together science, real-world experience, and storytelling to make complex environmental and social issues easier to understand—and, most importantly, to inspire action.

David is the author of several bilingual books on ecology and sustainability aimed at K-12 students and their parents. Through his work, he explores the connection between people, water, nature, leadership, and responsibility. His message is simple: we are not owners of nature; we are part of it.

Based on Long Island, New York, David continues to write, educate, and work with communities to protect water and preserve the environment for future generations.
