Ken B. is the son of Dick B. (J.D., CDAAC), known as the "unofficial historian of A.A.," whose 45 published titles document the Christian roots and early history of Alcoholics Anonymous. Ken worked alongside his father for decades and co-authored three titles with him: "Dr. Bob of Alcoholics Anonymous: His Excellent Training in the Good Book as a Youngster in Vermont" (2008), "Pioneer Stories in Alcoholics Anonymous" (2012), and "Stick with the Winners! How to Conduct More Effective 12-Step Meetings Using Conference-Approved Literature" (2012).
Today Ken serves as President of Good Book Publishing Company and continues his father's work of preserving and sharing the history of early A.A.'s Christian origins — including the officially-claimed 75 percent success rate of early A.A. (including in Akron) and the 93 percent documented success rate in early Cleveland A.A. He is based in Hawaii and publishes through his website, Dick B. on Recovery.
