Gemma Rubio Rodrigo is a specialist in strategic communication, human behaviour and cognitive leadership. From an early age, she was fascinated by what drives people to think, decide and act the way they do. That curiosity became the foundation of a career dedicated to understanding what happens beyond words.
Over the years, she has trained in body language, facial micro expressions with Dr Paul Ekman, applied neuroscience, game theory and behavioural dynamics, bringing together different disciplines to gain a deeper understanding of human interaction.
Having lived in the United States and the Netherlands, alongside working internationally and engaging with diverse cultures, she developed a broad perspective on communication and leadership. These experiences reinforced her belief that context is just as important as the message itself.
This journey led to the creation of Invisible Dynamics, a framework designed to uncover the hidden dynamics that shape trust, influence, decision making and leadership.
Her work has received international recognition, including the Woman Leader in Corporate Communications award at the Global Women Leadership Awards 2024 and the Best Marketing and Media award at the Middle East Excellence Summit 2024, both held in Dubai.
Today, Gemma advises senior leaders, executives, public figures and organisations seeking to understand what is really happening beneath the surface of conversations, negotiations and decision making, enabling them to communicate with greater clarity, influence and authenticity.
Through her books, she shares practical frameworks, insights and strategies that help readers develop a deeper understanding of human behaviour and lead with greater awareness in increasingly complex environments.
