Fr. David Vargas-Grajales is a Catholic priest, author, educator, and clinical mental health counselor with more than twenty-five years of pastoral ministry. His vocation has led him to serve diverse communities in Puerto Rico, Latin America, Italy, and the United States through parish ministry, Catholic education, spiritual formation, hospital and hospice care, and mental health counseling.
Drawing upon his experience as both a priest and counselor, Fr. David writes at the intersection of Catholic spirituality, pastoral care, emotional healing, and human formation. His books explore themes such as priestly vocation, spiritual direction, ministerial burnout, grief, mental health, and the healing power of God’s presence.
His writing is compassionate, practical, and deeply pastoral. Through personal reflection, spiritual insight, and clinical understanding, he seeks to accompany priests, religious, pastoral leaders, families, and all those who desire a deeper relationship with God.
Through his ministry and writing, Fr. David proclaims a message of hope, healing, and faithful perseverance: no human wound is beyond the tenderness and grace of God.
