Rocco Galati

Rocco Galati, B.A., LL.B, LL.M,, is a husband, father, and grandfather. Born in Calabria, of Jewish DNA and heritage, from Turkish ancestry, he lived most of his life in Canada and became one of Canada's foremost constitutional lawyers, restricting his practice to cases against governments. Mr. Galati, as a lawyer, has been a professor, published author, film producer, co-publisher, and in real estate business, in addition to his practice of law. He started work, in Canada, at a 37-hour work week, at age 12, and has been working ever since. His first, only, and last, “white collar” job has been that of a lawyer. He is the penultimate of 13 children, born to parents who were born in 1918 and 1919, with only the last three of 13 children being “literate”. He is fluent in seven languages and is trying to learn his 8th, Turkish.
