June Thornton

June Thornton is a New Zealand author. In the 1990s, she wrote three books on aromatherapy and natural skincare for Penguin Books, two of which became bestsellers, including Make Your Own Cosmetics, Aromatherapy for New Zealanders, and Beautiful Skin with Aromatherapy. Copies remain held in libraries throughout New Zealand, including the Alexander Turnbull Library in Wellington.

Her lifelong interest in natural cosmetics grew into a successful business, from which she has since retired. Jagged Wire is her first work of fiction.
