Anthony Profeta

Anthony Profeta is a contemplative teacher, meditation guide, and sound therapist whose work explores the depths of the Christian mystical tradition in dialogue with the great wisdom traditions of the world. His teaching draws on over twenty-five years of practice rooted in the Christian contemplative path and shaped by deep study of Buddhist and Hindu traditions through years of study and immersion in monasteries across India, Nepal, and Italy.

A hospital affiliated sound therapist named the #1 Sound Therapist in the United States in 2025, Anthony brings together clinical understanding of the healing arts and decades of contemplative formation. He is a featured teacher on Insight Timer, where his guided meditations have reached hundreds of thousands of practitioners worldwide. He leads annual contemplative pilgrimages to sacred sites in India, Egypt, Italy, and beyond, and is the founder of the Scripture & Spirit Bible community — a gathering place for seekers committed to the deeper work of spiritual transformation.

He is the author of Radical Love: The Revolutionary Spirituality of Francis of Assisi and Healing the Whole Person (A.R.E. Press), and writes regularly on contemplative practice, Christian mysticism, and the recovery of spiritual depth in modern life.
