Matthew William Johnson writes and illustrates children's books, coloring books, and activity books designed to inspire curiosity, creativity, and family time.

Fatherhood found him later in life than he ever expected, and it changed everything: how he spends his time, what he hopes to build, and why he creates in the first place. He considers becoming a dad one of the greatest blessings of his life.

The goal behind every book is the same one he holds for his own son: that children grow up curious, cared for, confident, and happy, and that families find more reasons to slow down, laugh, and be grateful together.

When he isn't writing, Matthew is probably coloring alongside his son, or pretending to color while quietly stealing bites of whatever snack is within reach.
