Rolland Jacks

Rolland Jacks is a writer, composer, filmmaker, and longtime educator. After

earning his doctorate, he chaired the education department at Westmont College

in Santa Barbara. He has written hundreds of songs, produced several musicals

and operettas, and created two films, You’ve Gotta Have a Dream and Forty-Seven

Days with Jesus. Rolland lives in Santa Barbara with his wife, Venetia. They have

four children, fifteen grandchildren, and five great-grandchildren.
