Angel Marcella

Angel Marcella is the author of *The Rosethorne and Highlands Saga*, a historical romance series set against the landscapes of England and the Scottish Highlands at the end of the seventeenth century.

Born in America and now living in Britain, Angel has long been fascinated by history, old houses, castles and the stories that might have unfolded within their walls. Her novels combine romance, family, adventure and humour with characters whose lives continue beyond the final page of a single book.

Her debut novel, *The Price of Elizabeth Wilson*, introduces Elizabeth Wilson and Alex Mackintosh, whose unexpected journey from an English manor house to the Highlands begins a much larger family saga.

When she isn't writing or researching another piece of history that has caught her imagination, Angel can usually be found with her West Highland White Terrier, Fergus, nearby. Fergus has also managed to find his way into her fictional world, proving that even a seventeenth-century Scottish household can benefit from the occasional troublesome little white dog.

Angel is continuing to write *The Rosethorne and Highlands Saga*, following its characters through love, loss, family and the changing lives they build together.
