Josh Goetzinger

Joshua Michael Goetzinger, born on January 4, 2001, is

a preacher from Baltimore, Maryland. Although he had

been familiar with Christianity for most of his life, it was on

December 6, 2022, at the age of 21, that he experienced

the life-changing miracle of being born again through

faith in Jesus Christ.

On May 14, 2023, when Joshua was 22 years old, God

called him to preach, and on July 5, 2023, he surrendered

to that calling. Following his call, he prepared for ministry

by studying at SureWord Baptist College in Dundalk,

Maryland, a ministry of Calvary Baptist Church under the

leadership of Pastor Stacey Shiflett. Joshua graduated

from SureWord Baptist College in May 2026 and

continues to serve faithfully alongside his wife and child

at Calvary Baptist Church.

Joshua is passionate about proclaiming the truth of

God’s Word and encouraging others to be reconciled

to God through Jesus Christ. Through his preaching,

writing, and teaching ministry, he seeks to strengthen

believers and faithfully communicate the Gospel with

clarity, conviction, and compassion.

Outside of ministry, Joshua is a mechanical tradesman

by occupation and has worked in HVAC his whole life. He

also enjoys hobbies such as hunting, fishing, camping,
