Fernanda Melchior

Fernanda Melchior is an avid reader with a passion for nature and the simplicity of everyday life. She found in children's literature a way to let her imagination soar and to share essential values.

Her stories come to life through travel experiences and a close connection with nature. Highlights of her work include:

• A day in Tallangatta (1st book): The true inspiration for writing this work came from gazing at the night sky in the Tallangatta region — which she remembers as the most beautiful starry sky she has ever seen. Inspired by those magical nights, her personal memories, and the warm welcome of the Australian people, Fernanda wrote this story to encourage children around the world to cherish family moments, develop social-emotional intelligence, and build a deep connection with nature.

• My friend Tatsu (2nd book): Inspired by a trip to Vietnam, this book follows an enchanting adventure between a young girl and a dragon in Ha Long Bay. It sparks the imagination and supports children's educational development. The story highlights the value of friendship and explores concepts of time and routine by introducing the days of the week. Furthermore, it fosters cognitive development through the discovery of the world via the five senses — all wrapped in a heartwarming tale that captivates from start to finish.

Her greatest achievement is knowing that a child learned something new while reading her pages.
