Sean Love was diagnosed with autism spectrum disorder as an adult. Before that, he took "We should get lunch sometime" as an invitation to lunch. Once a month. For years. His wife, Jill, knew it meant goodbye.
He writes about the years before he knew and the years since. What Neurotypicals Actually Mean is 90 comics about the things neurotypicals say and what they actually meant, translated by one autistic guy.
He is currently writing three more books: a memoir about how his undiagnosed autism destroyed his friendships, a guide for adults who just found out they are autistic, and a guide for their friends and family.
He posts about his autism on Instagram at @seanloveautism.
