I write for mothers in the middle of becoming.
When my first baby arrived, I loved her completely and still felt like a stranger to myself. I was exhausted, foggy, and quietly afraid something was wrong with me. Nothing was. What I was living had a name, matrescence, the shift into motherhood that is as real and as sweeping as adolescence, and almost no one had explained it to me.
So I started writing the books I wish someone had handed me in those first weeks: warm, honest, and grounded in real science, with no perfect-parent pressure and no hustle.
I am the mother of two. Everything I write comes back to one steady message: you are not broken, and you are not the only one. You are becoming someone new.
