Ronnette Curls

Ronnette Curls is a retired educator with 32 years of teaching experience, an accomplished children's author, illustrator, educational content creator, and founder of Soap 4 Hope & Literacy, a nonprofit organization dedicated to restoring dignity and empowering minds through hygiene and literacy.

Inspired by more than three decades in the classroom, Ronnette has written and illustrated a growing collection of engaging books that help children develop healthy habits, build strong character, strengthen literacy skills, and develop a lifelong love of learning. She is the creator of the popular Bubbles the Hygiene Hero series, the Pink Thumb Book Series, Black history books, social-emotional learning resources, financial literacy books, activity books, and educational resources for teachers, parents, and classrooms.

Ronnette is also the creator of the successful Pink Thumb Learning Channel on YouTube, where learning happens for children and learners of all ages through read-alouds, educational videos, songs, storytelling, and engaging lessons that make learning fun and meaningful.
