Laura Rice

Laura Rice lives in the beautiful mountains of North Carolina with her husband as well as, Birdie, their dog and Butterscotch, their cat. She was a speech-language pathologist for 31 years, working with children ages 3 to 8. She has three adult children( triplets) two sons and a daughter. They are all married with children of their own and as a grandmother of eight, Laura enjoys spending time with them. She also loves playing golf, pickleball and fly fishing with her husband.

She has been a prayer warrior for years and recently felt a tug on her heart to write a children’s book filled with her prayers. She joined Becky Wise, who is the illustrator, to write Lala’s Prayers.
