Val Johnson

My name is Val Johnson, and I am the author of the series Adventures with Harry and Callie. I retired from the workforce and decided to finally write a book. This is something I have wanted to do for many years. I live in Vermont, in a small town with my family. My grandchildren Harrison and Calliope are my inspiration for the books in this series. The three of us spent many hours on the creation of every character, choosing names to fit each one, and giving them unique personalities and abilities. We talked about several places for the stories to take place and ended up choosing a town in Ireland because it is associated with being a magical country. I truly believe we have created a magical series that will be enjoyed by many. I welcome all comments and thank you for taking the time to read our books.
