Randy W Moore

Randy W. Moore is a grandpa, father, and husband living in San Diego, California, and a veteran of the U.S. Navy. By trade he is a software engineer; more recently he has become an artist and — well — a writer, too. Mostly, he is an expert in the very serious business of helping kids have a great time.

He writes funny chapter books for young readers, told in a deadpan that grown-ups tend to enjoy as much as the kids do. He publishes under the True Stuff Books imprint, a name he takes only as seriously as it deserves.

The Giant of Yellowstone is his first book, written for his grandchildren, who are absolutely nothing like the kids in the story. Any resemblance is pure coincidence.
