Geoffrey Bruschi

Dr. Geoffrey Bruschi is a theologian, pastor, hospice chaplain, author, and teacher who has spent more than two decades helping people discover what it means to be fully human before God.

He holds a Doctor of Theology from Kairos University, where his doctoral research explored an artistic vision of human personhood. His work brings together theology, pastoral care, psychology, and the lived experience of ordinary people who are trying to make sense of faith, shame, suffering, identity, and hope.

Geoffrey currently serves as a pastor and hospice chaplain, where he regularly walks with people through some of life's most profound moments—birth, brokenness, reconciliation, grief, and death. These experiences have deeply shaped his conviction that every person is more than the worst thing they have done, the wounds they have suffered, or the labels others have placed upon them.

His writing explores a central question: What if we could learn to see ourselves—and one another—as God sees us?

Geoffrey is the author of Being Seen: How God Reveals and Restores Humanity to R.E.A.L. Life and Persons as God's Art: Toward an Artistic Ontology of Personhood. His work invites readers to move beyond shame and hiding into a deeper awareness of their identity, dignity, vocation, and belovedness as persons created in the image of God.

Geoffrey and his wife have been married for more than 29 years and live in Virginia. When he isn't writing, teaching, preaching, or caring for patients and families, he enjoys spending time with his family and exploring the mystery of what it means to become the people God created us to be.
