Suzanne Leonard

Suzanne Leonard is Professor of Race, Gender, and Sexuality Studies at Simmons University in Boston. She has published widely on sex, romance, marriage, adultery, and intimacy. Author of A Feminist Guide to Marriage (2026), and Wife, Inc: The Business of Marriage in the Twenty-First Century (2018), as well as co-editor of the award winning anthology, Imagining ‘We’ in the Age of ‘I’: Romance and Social Bonding in Contemporary Culture (2022), Leonard specializes in the intersections of feminism and popular culture.
