Hi, I'm Lek (aka Lexie) — writer, seeker, and chaser of the things most people pretend they don't see.

I wrote Into the Unknown: Beyond the Veil because I couldn't keep quiet about the paranormal and spiritual experiences that have shaped my life. Some of it's been beautiful. Some of it's been hard to carry alone. All of it's true.

Writing has become the way I make sense of what I've lived through — the parts that are easy to talk about, and the parts that took me years to say out loud. If you've ever felt like your own story was "too much" for polite conversation, this book is for you too.

Right now I'm deep into my second memoir, this one about my grandmother — the roots I came from and the unknown I've been chasing ever since. It's the most personal thing I've written yet.

When I'm not writing, I'm following a hunch, trusting my gut, or out there searching for the next thing that doesn't quite add up.
