Victor Galmard

Victor Galmard is a novelist, screenwriter, and filmmaker whose stories explore the moment ordinary lives are broken open by an extraordinary, often magical, hidden world.

He is the author of "Tales of Aldorun", an epic, dark fantasy saga set in Eredia, a world populated by spiritual tribes, political games, prophecies, and a quest for vengeance in all its misguided forms. He is also the co-author of "Into Another World", a fantasy story studying the trauma of the Hiroshima bombing, war, fatherhood, and the hope for a new beginning in a magical yet ruthless world.

Alongside his novels, Victor writes and develops film projects, including "The Trumpet", a music-driven story about grieving through jazz, cultural shock, and artistic rebirth, and "The In-Between", a tale around passing souls through Korean food, trying to answer one vast question: what do family and death truly mean?

Across fantasy and cinema, his work is driven by immersive worldbuilding, culture and mythology, and characters forced to discover who they really are when everything familiar is taken away.
