Ellen Y. Yan

Dr. Ellen Yan was born and raised in an academic family

in Tianjin, Mainland China. She pursued her education at prestigious

institutions, including Tianjin Nankai High School, the

People’s University of China, and Nankai University. In

1988, she came to the United States and pursue her Ph.D.

in Economics at the University of Iowa. After earning her

doctoral degree , she spent over a decade working in the

financial industry before founding her own financial consulting company in Massachusetts.
